Solar firms urge EU to set 45% RES target and end permitting ‘bottleneck’

The EU must raise its 2030 renewable energy target by at least 13 percentage points and move to tackle a permitting bottleneck that is slowing deployment, the president of the main trade association representing the solar photovoltaic industry in Brussels has said.
