Lobby group accuses EEB of ‘facile’ call to regulate flame retardants

The European Environmental Bureau’s call to class all brominated flame retardants as substances of very high concern (SVHC) has “no regulatory basis and lacks any credible science to support it”, an affiliate of the Brussels-based chemical industry lobby group Cefic has said.
