Environment ministers have ‘reservations’ over ETS for cars and buildings

A first meeting of EU environment ministers since the proposals for root-and-branch reform of Europe’s climate policy has cast a shadow over European Commission plans to extend emissions trading to road transport and buildings, despite a last minute ultimatum from vice-president Frans Timmermans.
