EU agencies stress need for ongoing drive to clean up international shipping

With growing demand for raw materials and international trade driving growth in international shipping, “additional unrelented efforts will be needed at EU and international level to make the sector more sustainable and more resilient,” say the the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) and the European Environment Agency (EEA).
