Momentum builds at UN for global deal to stem plastic pollution

Support for an international treaty to cut the growing volume of plastic waste released into the world’s oceans is growing, Germany has said, after it co-hosted a first International Ministerial Conference on Marine Litter and Plastic Pollution.
