MEPs ambivalent over proposal to slash pesticide use

The European Parliament’s environment and agriculture committees have failed to explicitly endorse a Commission proposal to halve the overall use and risk of chemical pesticides by 2030, as they adopted their joint position on the EU Farm-to-Fork Strategy.
