MEPs call for tighter methane emission rules, continued support for gas projects

Campaigners have criticised the European Parliament’s industry committee for approving a text that would continue to allow natural gas projects to be listed as ‘projects of common interest’, while environment committee colleagues have endorsed the EU Methane Strategy.
