Pressure grows to ban synthetic refrigerants

The European Commission’s plans to align EU fluorinated gases rules with its ‘green deal’ ambitions should push manufacturers towards alternatives and introduce a near-total ban on synthetic refrigerants, an online event hosted by the European Environmental Bureau heard on Thursday.
