Green energy sector outraged at EU plans to sign deal with Bill Gates

A planned joint energy research fund with Microsoft boss-turned-philanthropist Bill Gates would provide a “back door” for support to nuclear power at the expense of renewable energy and call into question the EU’s wider credibility, the European Renewable Energy Federation (EREF) has said.
