COP26 today: Climate pledges near Paris goal as anger over conference organisation grows

Carbon abatement plans submitted to the Glasgow climate conference would deliver 1.8°C of warming, approaching the global goal of 1.5°C, an analysis by the International Energy Agency indicates.
