EU regulator aims to have wild bee protection goal agreed by January

An agreement on the acceptable reduction in wild bee colony size due to pesticide exposure should be agreed by January, the European Food Safety Authority has indicated in an update to progress on a revised ‘bee guidance document’ that could greatly impact pesticide use across the EU.
