COP26: EU greets ‘Glasgow Climate Pact’ as flawed step forward

Global commitments to “phase down” unabated coal use, increase 2030 climate targets next year and ramp up spending on adaptation finance, as agreed at the UN climate talks in Glasgow this weekend, have received a mixed reaction in Brussels.
