ECHA committees support clamp-down on ‘forever chemical’ PFHxA

A commonly used member of the PFAS family of ‘forever chemicals’ should be restricted for use in textiles, food packaging and fire-fighting foams, the European Chemical Agency’s two scientific committees have said in response to a proposal from German regulators.
