Proposed emissions cuts in non-ETS sectors ‘will miss 2030 climate target’ - report

The European Commission’s proposed climate targets for sectors not covered by the emissions trading scheme (ETS) will only cut greenhouse gas emissions by 33% over the next decade rather than 40% as envisaged, according to an analysis by Transport & Environment.
