EU court throws out industry’s latest challenge against BPA designation

The European Court of Justice (ECJ) has dismissed a final appeal by the trade association PlasticsEurope against EU regulators’ decision to class bisphenol-A (BPA) as a ‘substance of very high concern’ due to its endocrine disrupting properties.
