Interview: Why solar thermal is a home grown way to reduce gas demand

When we talk about solar power, most people think of photovoltaic (PV) panels on roofs or arrayed in arid fields. In fact the REPowerEU communication, the European Commission’s plan to reduce EU energy demand in face of an increasingly unacceptable dependence on Russia fossil fuels, spoke of accelerating the roll-out of rooftop solar PV.
