Drinks producers and NGOs in joint call for ‘closed loop’ recycling system

Anti-waste campaigners have joined forces with beverage industry groups in urging EU decision makers to ensure a review of the Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive (PPWD) prevents food-grade plastic being ‘downcycled’ by other sectors looking to boost their green credentials.
