Leak: Commission set to move on wind and solar permitting bottleneck

The European Commission aims to limit the time national and local authorities can take to decide on planning permits for renewable energy infrastructure to a year or less, while rethinking its headline 2030 green energy target, according to a leaked proposal seen by ENDS Europe.
