Green groups call for earlier phase-out of ‘world’s most potent greenhouse gas’

MEPs and member states should agree to phase out sulphur hexafluoride (SF6), a greenhouse gas 25,200 times more powerful than CO2, earlier than the 2031 deadline proposed by the European Commission, green groups have said.
