EU executive promises microplastics restrictions after accusation of ‘illegal delay’

The European Commission has told ENDS Europe it is “about to finalise” a draft proposal to ban the deliberate addition of minute plastic particles to a range of products, after campaigners slammed the EU executive over a year-long delay.
