Lead MEP to push for 2035 end to fossil fuels in revised buildings law

The lawmaker tasked with drawing up the European Parliament’s position on the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) has proposed requiring member states to phase out fossil fuel use in buildings by 2035.
