Commission sued over extending licence for ‘one of the most hazardous pesticides’

An environmental group has lodged a complaint with the European Court of Justice in a bid to end what it says is the “systematic” extension of authorisation for toxic pesticides without re-evaluating their potential impact on health and the environment.
