ECHA defends glyphosate findings as debate over re-authorisation heats up

Top officials at the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) have said there is no reason to conclude that glyphosate is unsafe as MEPs questioned the regulator’s re-assessment of the systemic herbicide, whose current EU licence expires in December.
