Europe must double renewable power roll-out to close ‘implementation gap’

The annual build-up of wind and solar power capacity must double from last year’s 34 gigawatts if the EU is to meet its Paris Agreement commitments, let alone achieve new targets responding to the ongoing energy crisis, a report suggests.
