Interview: Why now is the time to rewet Europe

As Europe experiences one of its worst droughts on record, the role wetlands play in stabilising water flow and storing carbon has come to the fore. Jane Madgwick, the head of Wetlands International, discusses how to stop them going ‘up in smoke and down the drain’.
