Climate campaigners make the case for higher EU targets

A 2030 net emissions reduction target of 67-77% is “technically and economically feasible” according to green group Climate Action Network (CAN) Europe, which published on Tuesday a report outlining how the EU can align with the Paris Agreement goal of limiting global temperature rise to 1.5°C.
