Energy crisis: 10% drop in European gas use, as industry seeks access to reserves

Consumption of natural gas in Europe fell 10% in the first eight months of the year, dragging global demand down by 0.8% overall, according to the International Energy Agency, while fossil fuel firms are lobbying for access to EU reserves.
