MEPs urge wealthy countries meet their commitments ahead of COP27

The European Parliament’s environment committee says Europe and other wealthy nations should make concrete commitments to increase their CO2 reduction targets and put more money on the table to help developing countries make the clean energy transition and tackle the effects of rising heat, ahead of the UN climate summit in Sharm El Sheikh next month.
