COP27: EU inks deals to support sustainable forestry in developing countries

The European Commission has signed memoranda of understanding with Guyana, Mongolia, the DRC, Uganda and Zambia at the COP27 climate summit, amid a flurry of warnings over the state of the world’s forests, and the dangers of relying on carbon sinks to meet climate goals.
