EED: Member states ‘willing’ to move on energy efficiency first principle

The second round of trilogue talks on revising the Energy Efficiency Directive (EED) ended with limited progress yesterday, but member states indicated they might accept lower thresholds for applying the ‘energy efficiency first’ principle to major policy and investment decisions.
