Finalised ecodesign rules for phones disappoint ‘right to repair’ groups

Leaked rules setting out ecodesign requirements for phones and tablets do not guarantee cheap and easily available spare parts, while still allowing manufacturers to prevent independent repairers from fixing their products, campaigners have warned.
