ETS: Liese hails ‘major success’ in agreement on shipping

The European Parliament has beefed up plans to include shipping in the EU emissions trading system with measures that will cut the sector’s climate impact by an extra 20 million tonnes of CO2 by 2030, rapporteur Peter Liese has said.
