Leak: Commission extends use of fossil-sourced CO2 in e-fuels until 2040s

The European Commission plans to prolong the potential to reuse carbon captured from burning fossil fuels, according to leaked draft legislation, as it gears up to present secondary legislation this year on recycled carbon fuels and renewable hydrogen.
