Chemicals: Commission takes step towards criteria for ‘safe and sustainable by design’

The European Commission has invited the chemicals sector to test a new framework for assessing products, with a view to finalising the ‘safe and sustainable by design’ criteria promised in its 2020 Chemicals Strategy.
