EU leaders urged not to spend Social Climate Fund on fossil fuel infrastructure

With government delegates and MEPs due to begin a marathon negotiation on Friday to finalise EU ETS reforms, a raft of civil society groups have urged them not to allow financial assistance for coal-dependent regions to be channelled into other fossil fuel infrastructure.
