Concern as parliament backs bonfire of red tape for renewable energy projects

Environmental groups say the European Parliament has chosen the wrong balance between the need to rapidly erect wind turbines, solar arrays and other renewable energy infrastructure, and the exigency of protecting habitats and reversing biodiversity loss.
