Europe's headlong pursuit of LNG jeopardises climate goals – report

EU plans for a host of new import terminals for liquified natural gas will do little to address any immediate shortfalls, a US-based research group has warned, while associated long-term supply agreements and looming over-capacity could undermine the bloc’s climate ambitions.
