Energy ministers reach deal on methane emissions, split on ‘low-carbon’ hydrogen

The European Commission has slammed member states’ negotiating position on methane emissions as inadequate, amid discussion of the ‘backdoor’ inclusion of hydrogen made from fossil fuels or nuclear power in EU renewable energy targets.
