Mediterranean emissions control area adopted by IMO

The International Maritime Organisation (IMO) last week officially designated the Mediterranean sea as an emissions control area for sulphur oxides (SOx) and particulate matter, with hopes high for similar action for Europe’s Atlantic coast.
