CCS: Commission approves billion-euro Danish support scheme

A €1.1bn state support scheme to promote the roll-out of carbon capture and storage technology in Denmark has been given the green light by the European Commission, while, separately, a group of scientists and former executives says fossil fuel companies should foot the bill for removing the CO2 associated with their products.
