EU unveils in Davos its answer to US green subsidies

European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen outlined at the World Economic Forum in Switzerland on Tuesday a planned ‘Net-zero Industry Act’ to boost clean tech in the EU, a response to a US stimulus package that has sparked fears of investment flowing away from Europe.
