Huge potential impact of insulating Europe’s housing stock quantified

Analysts at the Buildings Performance Institute Europe (BPIE) estimate that improving insulation in Europe’s housing stock could reduce energy demand in the building sector as a whole by 44%, dramatically reducing demand for gas, heating oil and coal.
