ECJ restricts use of emergency pesticide authorisations

EU pesticide rules do not allow member states to authorise the sale of seeds treated with banned nicotinoid pesticides, the European Court of Justice (ECJ) has ruled, in what green groups have hailed as a landmark judgement.
