Commission puts trucks in the slow lane to decarbonisation

The average CO2 emissions of lorries, buses and other heavy duty vehicles should be reduced by 65% by 2035, the European Commission on Tuesday, in stark contrast to new rules for passenger cars and vans which must be fully decarbonised by that date.
