NGOs ‘profoundly concerned’ about Council’s position in RED talks

A global alliance of environmental groups have sent letters to energy ministers, ahead of an informal meeting in Stockholm, warning that the EU Council’s refusal to compromise on a definition of woody biomass risks rendering the bloc’s climate targets unattainable.
