Poland’s forest law breaches EU nature rules, ECJ says

Poland breached the EU’s Birds and Habitats Directives when it introduced reforms to its forest law in 2016, and has failed to guarantee green groups the right to challenge forest management plans, the EU’s top court has ruled.
