MEP in charge of pesticide reduction file backs glyphosate phase-out

The European Parliament’s lead negotiator on a proposal to halve pesticide use across the EU has given her backing to a prompt phase-out of one of the most heavily used agrochemicals, as a new study suggests feasible alternatives to glyphosate already exist.
