Commission hails EU’s largest geothermal heating project

A quarter of Europeans live near sufficient geothermal resources to replicate a Hungarian project supplying renewable heat to 28,000 homes and 400 public buildings, commissioner for cohesion Elisa Ferreira said on Thursday to mark its inauguration.
