Parliament agrees to push back date for WHO air quality alignment

In a contentious vote, the European Parliament agreed on Wednesday that EU air pollution limits should be aligned with those recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO), but pushed the date to reach that goal from 2030 to 2035.
