Parliament approves stance on electricity market reform without full vote

The European Parliament has upheld the industry committee’s decision to bypass plenary and go straight to interinstitutional negotiations on the revision of the EU’s electricity market rules, rejecting a call from dissenting MEPs for a full vote.
